In cooperation with external market partners STS is continuously working on the optimization of custom specific inductive components.

The seminar will focus on the following topics:

  • Capacitive effects in inductors and transformers and their influence
on emi behavior of these components

  • Influence of DC-Bias and Magnetic History on the Hysteresis Curves
    and Losses of Ferrites

  • Best of: copper and core losses / skin and proximity effect

  • Simulation and optimization of coupled inductors
    for power electronics applications

  • Growth law and cost factors of inductive components
by chance of the operation frequency

In order to follow this seminar solid knowledge of magnetic materials and inductive components is essential. A good basis is the participation at our annually held basic seminar (the next one to take place in spring 2020).

The main language of the seminar will be German. English documentation and a simultaneous interpreter service for English during the whole seminar will be available. All questions can be answered in German and English and the workshops are bilingual, too.
