STS has now been producing inductive components for this market segment for nearly 3 decades. Special requirements are set for quality and reliability. For this purpose we have a specially trained team in house whose members are qualified to produce these highly reliable components.

Products for use in satellites, for example, are manufactured to the valid ESA regulations. STS components are represented in at least 20 different types of satellite, and in addition they are used in the Eurofighter and the Airbus:

• low-capacity PFC chokes with special cooling system to achieve the lowest possible weight
• inductive components for the 400 Hz on-board system in civilian aircraft
• combined transformer-inductor modules for minimum overall volume
• toroidal core solutions for high accelerations in the military domain
• production of inductive components with specially rigorous quality requirements, e.g. according to the ESA specification for "high-reliability soldered joints".

STS components also satisfy extreme requirements, such as the smallest possible volume for high-reliability components.
